Embrace Diversity
For too long Clacton has been the butt of the nation’s jokes and accusations about being “bigoted” and “Racist”.
In fact, Clacton is full of diverse individuals and families, who enrich our community.
The Clacton Together, Embrace Diversity Campaign is to make a start to relabelling Clacton to an embracing society, where its beautiful beaches are enjoyed by all.

Not In Our Town!
We know Clacton on the whole is an accepting and diverse society already. Unfortunately, like with everything, the few tend to have the biggest voices.
Recent Conservative policies have allowed the “bigoted” few to shout louder and louder, which the national media latches on to.
Please let us know what you think of Clacton by completing this survey.
Clacton Doesn't accept Racism
This Campaign is to make it clear to the racist few, that their racist behaviour is NOT welcome here!
We’re here to rebuild Clacton’s image, and not demolish it further. It’s about making the loving and accepting communities’ voices louder and letting people know that Clacton is NOT racist.
Louder voices get heard more. Let Diversity Win!
Our Campaign
Recently with the BBC’s Question Time episode on Brexit, We were so disappointed with the portrayal of Clacton that our Communications officer Martin wrote a Letter to the Gazette, which you can see here.
We now want to know what people think of Clacton.
We want to know what our councillors can do to create a positive community spirit in Clacton.
We want to celebrate diversity and help show that racism is not welcome here. We also want to raise money to fight for positive community relations in our community.
