Latest News

Clacton Carnival

Unfortunately the weather got the better of us on the 5th August but we were able to set up our stand on 13th August on the West Greensward. My thanks to the party members who ran the stall. This was again a great opportunity to listen to voters, meet potential members and share our vision for the future of our area. It is important that we are visible and part of our community. The message that came across from voters is that change is needed and we need a General Election as soon as possible..

Website Launch

Our communications team have been working tirelessly to give our CLP more of an online presence. In addition to uploading frequently to the facebook and instagram accounts we already have, we also now have a tiktok account, where we plan to upload some short/fun videos of up campaigning or things going on in the constituency. Martin Suker, our Communications Officer has also just this week launched a new vibrant and functional website. We hope for this to be the centre for information for the CLP, transitioning away from the facebook members only page.

If you would like to be involved in creating content for the website/social media, please email Martin – [email protected]

If you havent yet seen the new website you can use the button below and we would love your feedback.

Selection of Parliamentary Candidate

The NEC has recently started the candidate selection process for a number of non-priority parliamentary seats which includes Clacton-on-Sea. If you wish to be considered and are a member, please complete the expression of interest form. An email was sent to all members on the 28th July or you can apply here.
