After an unfortunate result in the Bluehouse Byelection John’s statement was
I wish to express and record my sincere thanks to those who helped and supported me as the Labour Candidate during the Bluehouse By-election held on Thursday 11th January 2024.
Obviously, the result was very disappointing, but it was not through the lack of effort by myself and the Clacton Campaign Team. We had a very short period of time to
campaign, which incorporated the Christmas break, and of course the weather was against us.
I will continue to act and support local issues within Tendring and look forward to standing as a Labour Candidate again if selected in any future elections.
